In last season’s two-part season finale, titled “The Gang Goes to Hell,” Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito) go on a Christian cruise and, as you can guess, get themselves into all sorts of trouble (based on the seven deadly sins). They end up in the brig, and when the ship takes in water and begins to sink, they prepare for death by lashing out at each other one last time. However, just before they drown, they are rescued and recount their horrific experience to an insurance adjuster, but because they admitted to breaking the law several times, they don’t receive any payout.

So, what’s in store for the Gang? This season, the gang goes to a waterpark, deals with a Wolf Cola PR nightmare, and actually spends a whole day tending bar!

Will this be the show’s last season? Nope! If you didn’t know, back in April, FXX annouced that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been renewed for seasons 13 and 14. And with season 14, Sunny will tie The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet as the longest-running live-action comedy series in television history.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by Rob McElhenney. He also serves as executive producer along with Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel, Tom Lofaro, Scott Marder and David Hornsby. The show is produced by FX Productions.
