Game of Thrones star Sophie “Sansa Stark” Turner was on the red carpet for the 2017 British Academy Film Awards, where she was asked about her two biggest franchise projects: the final two seasons of Game of Thrones and the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse movie sequel, tentatively titled X-Men: Supernova.

In talking to reporters from Hey U Guys, Turner gave the following answer about her GoT/X-Men futures: “We’re about to start shooting the next X-Men, we’ve just finished shooting Season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I’ve got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season 8.”
We’ve already discussed how that quote confirms X-Men: Supernova‘s imminent production start (which was still unconfirmed) – it also seems to indicate a (mild?)(major?) Game of Thrones SPOILER.
If Turner is already confirming her return for GoT season 8, then it would seem that the spoiler of Sansa surviving season 7 is now out of the bag. Given where season 6 left the each of the surviving Stark children – plus the rumors about some of season 7’s big moments – it could indeed be a major spoiler to hear that Sansa walks out alive. With early signs of rivalries with both Jon Snow and Littlefinger, could either one (or both) of those men end up on the wrong side of Sansa’s machinations? Lady Stark has truly let winter into her heart lately, so there may be very little warmth left in there for anyone.
