A news anchor was caught on video having an epic meltdown about her co-reporter wearing the same color as her, and you have to watch this video.

Amber Sherlock from 9 News totally freaked out on fellow reporter Julie Snook after she realized that the two of them, and their guest were all wearing white.

Only moments before going live on Wednesday, Sherlock snapped on Snook while psychologist Sandy Rea looked on with an awkwardly uncomfortable expression on her face.

"I need Julie to put a jacket on because we're all in white," Sherlock said. "I asked her before we came on...Julie you need to put a jacket on."

Snook defended herself by saying she didn't have time to chagne.

"Come on I told you two hours ago," Sherlock said. "There can't be three of us."

Snook finally said that if the problem was that serious then she would simply remove herself from the live broadcast.

"If it's an issue I can get on out of here," Snook said.

Sherlock didn't back down at all.

"It is an issue. Go and grab a jacket," Sherlock said coldly. "I wasn't saying it for no reason. The wardrobe girls will be furious."

Snook said in response: "If there's an issue I can just head on out and get back to work. I'm flat chat. I genuinely forgot,"

"Fine, jump on out if that's what you'd like to do," Sherlock said. "Come on, wearing a jacket. I asked you two-and-a-half hours ago. It's not the hardest request."

In the end, Snook put on a black jacket and the show continued.

After the incident went viral, Amber Sherlock released a statement to explain that the issue was exacerbated because the problem occurred prior to a live broadcast.

"Live TV can be a pretty stressful beast, at times. And as anyone knows, it's never much fun rocking up to work or to a party in the same outfit as one of your colleagues or friends. I probably overreacted with the pressure of presenting a live news bulletin. Thank goodness we had psychologist Sandy Rae around afterwards!" Sherlock said.

Snook also spoke out and explained that there is no beef between the two, simply a small mixup.

"What can I say? Amber and I just really love white! Amber and I are good friends and I really enjoy working with her. News is a fast moving environment and sometimes these things happen," Snook said.
