While the biggest names on The Big Bang Theory – Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki – had previously renegotiated their contracts, two of the show’s other stars remained in the negotiation stages for quite some time. However, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rouch have now officially signed on for the next – and presumably final – two seasons of the series.

The two actresses recently reached an agreement with Warner Bros. Television to stay on The Big Bang Theory through season 12. Both Bialik and Rauch will earn a whopping $500,000 per episode, for the next 48 episodes. This is a major increase from their previous contracts, where the actresses were making between $175,000-$200,000 per episode.

It sounds like a lot of money, but it’s still significantly less than The Big Bang Theory‘s main stars. Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg will each make $900,000 for each episode.

These mega-deals were actually pay-cuts for the five stars. Each of those actors previously made $1 million per episode, but took a $100,000 decrease so the studio could give raises to Bialik and Rauch.

The two actresses have contributed quite a lot to the series over the past several years, and there was no doubt that they have earned their new contracts.

In addition to the next two seasons of The Big Bang Theory, a spin-off called Young Sheldon is also in development.
