Audiences loved Williams’ take on Dent in the original movie, and were excited to see his take on the character transform into Two-Face. Unfortunately, Williams was never able to reprise his role in the series.

With The Lego Batman Movie arriving in 2017, and a few trailers having recently dropped, fans have been wondering who would voice the popular villain. A twitter user contacted McKay on the social media site, and asked if Billy Dee Williams would be voicing Two-Face, and the director’s answer was simple.

Williams joins an all-star cast for The Lego Batman Movie, with Will Arnett reprising his role of Batman from The Lego Movie. Ralph Fiennes has lent his voice to the ever-present Alfred Pennyworth, Michael Cera will portray Dick Grayson, Jenny Slate is going to voice Harley Quinn, Zach Galifianakis is playing The Joker, and Rosario Dawson is lined up for Catwoman.

While Billy Dee Williams is recognizable in his portrayal of Harvey Dent, it was another major film franchise in which he gained his notoriety. The actor portrayed Han Solo’s friend, smuggler turned politician Lando Calrissian, in the Star Wars franchise. Williams appeard as Lando in two films, as well as voiced the character in multiple games and cartoons.

It was recently announced that Donald Glover would play a younger version of Lando in the upcoming Han Solo standalone film.

The Lego Batman Movie hits theaters February 10, 2017.
