CBS Announces 2016 Fall Lineup

CBS has officially rolled out their fall schedule, with fan favorites like The Big Bang Theory and NCIS mixing alongside newcomers such as the MacGyver reboot and new comedy Kevin Can Wait.

The actual season technically starts on Thursday, September, 15th with Thursday Night Football, followed by the beginning of the network’s six-hour miniseries Case Closed on Sunday, September 18th.

On Monday, September 19th, number one show The Big Bang Theory returns for its 10th season at 8 pm, followed by Kevin James’ return to CBS Kevin Can Wait. Tuesday, September 20th will see the return of NCIS, now in its 14th season, followed by its sister show NCIS: New Orleans, which is hitting its 3rd season. Michael Weatherly’s new vehicle, Bull, will also launch that night.

Wednesdays will be home to the channels reality offerings Survivor and Big Brother until September 28th, which will see the returns of Criminal Minds (in its 12th season) and Code Black, which is returning for its 2nd season.

On Friday, September 23rd, MacGyver will premiere at 8pm, followed by the season openers of Hawaii Five-0, now in its 7th season, and Blue Bloods, which is also in its seventh season.

Things will shuffle a bit on on the week of October 24th, as the network will move The Big Bang Theory to its 8pm timeslot on Thursday, October 27th, and follow it up with The Great Indoors (8:30 pm), Mom (9pm), Life in Pieces (9:30) and Pure Genius (10pm).

The new Monday lineup will include Kevin Can Wait (8pm), the debut of Man with a Plan (8:30), 2 Broke Girls (9pm), The Odd Couple (9:30), and Scorpion (10pm).
