Chewbacca Mom Gets Advice From J.J. Abrams

Chewbacca Mom Candace Payne doesn't seem to need any help with her Chewbacca impression, but that didn't stop her from getting some notes from The Late Late Show's James Corden.

The talk show host didn't seem to love the impression as much as Payne did, saying: You know that doesn't sound anything like Chewbacca right?" All that came to a halt when Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Director JJ Abrams appeared (seemingly out of thin air) in the back seat, and retorted: "I gotta disagree. I think it's an excellent Chewbacca."

After confirming he had been there the whole time, he couldn't resist giving one directors note, but he couldn't give those notes without a demonstration, so he put on the mask and said: "It's less like this, Rrrrrrrghghghghgh! and it's more like this Rrrrrghghghghgh" Well said JJ, well said.

Eventually, Corden couldn't resist getting in on the fun, and the clip ends with all three in the throws of uncontrolled laughter.

Candace Payne's original Chewbacca Mom video has taken the internet by storm, with a simple Kohl's trip resulting in a nationwide sensation. She went in to find some clothes, but while that didn't pan out she ended up finding a Chewbacca mask with sound effects. When she got to the parking lot she started a Facebook live session and couldn't contain her enjoyment of the mask, and many people felt the same way, as the video racked up more than 95 million views.
