Candace Payne broke the internet this summer after posting a Facebook Live video while donning her favorite Chewbacca mask. Now, she’s commemorated the epic moment in the best way possible: a tattoo.

Payne showed off her new ink via another Facebook post, which seems perfectly fitting, and said she simply “had to do it.”
“I had to do it,” Payne wrote on Facebook. “I mean. CHEWBACCA has become so much more to me after this summer. As if I couldn’t love him more?! I sketched this design and finally got it tattooed today. How CUTE is this little guy?! The laugh, the eyes squinting, and those luscious bangs…He’s such a HAPPY CHEWBACCA! 😍#chibi #chibiart #tattoo #chewbacca #simplejoys.”
But Payne’s internet fame didn’t stop with her video. She’s also been invited onto The Late Late Show and even to Facebook headquarters for a special visit from Chewie himself.
Perhaps the best thing that’s happened to Payne since her video went viral is the fact Hasbro sent her custom doll of herself as a Wookiee.
Here’s the original video of Payne in case you missed it.
