The most iconic ghost in the Ghostbusters pantheon has a female counterpart in July 15's Paul Feig-directed remake of Ghostbusters.

At the tail end of a newly-released TV spot, ugly-looking spud Slimer can be seen, apparently driving a car alongside a female apparition that appears to be of the same type.

That is, a glob of floating green slime with arms and a face...but in the case of the female one, she's also got hair and appears to be wearing makeup.

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today – Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. This summer, they're here to save the world!

The film is directed by Paul Feig (The Heat, Bridesmaids), written by Feig and Katie Dippold, and produced by Ivan Reitman and Amy Pascal. Feig, Jessie Henderson, Tom Pollock, Joe Medjuck, Ali Bell, Michele Imperato Stabile, and Dan Aykroyd are its executive producers. The cast features Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams, Neil Casey, Elizabeth Perkins, and Chris Hemsworth.

Ghostbusters is due in theaters July 15, 2016.
