Actor Dan Stevens can be seen standing on the set of the much-anticipated film, looking as if he came directly out of the animated original. Granted, he is in human form here, so it’s not known whether this is from before he is transformed or after the spell is lifted, but either way it’s extremely accurate.

Earlier today two more photos from the Bill Condon directed picture made it online, which featured Gaston and LeFou in the tavern, as well as first looks at fan favorites Lumiere and Cogsworth. The response has been positive thus far, but of course, fans are clamoring for more looks at Emma Watson’s Belle, and you can’t really blame them.

Beauty and the Beast stars Watson alongside Dan Stevens (Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston), Josh Gad (LeFou), Kevin Kline (Maurice), Sir Ian McKellen (Cogsworth), Ewan McGregor (Lumiere), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Plumette), Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts), Nathan Mack (Chip), Stanley Tucci (Cadenza), Audra McDonald (Garderobe), Hattie Morahan (Agathe). The will include music by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice.

“When it comes to these new live action adaptations from Disney, they are hitting the nail on the head. Every actor is perfectly cast and Beauty & The Beast is no exception,” explained ComicBook.com Executive Editor, Jim Viscardi. “As this photo shows, Dan Stevens has the right amount of brawn and the charming good looks to play the Beast.”

Beauty and the Beast releases in theatres on March 17th, 2017.
