None of the information about Game of Thrones Season 7 that has surfaced can be confirmed, however, there is some corroborating evidence in the form of photos and videos taken from filming locations in Europe.

If you want digest version, we’ve got your cover. Here are the highlights.

ALL OF THE GAME OF THRONES SEASON 7 SPOILERS FOLLOW

Much like Game of Thrones Season 6, Game of Thrones Season 7 is all about bringing the main characters together and turning the show’s attention towards the threat of the White Walkers to the North.

Daenerys and her crew finally arrive at Dragonstone, where her ancestors first landed before conquering Westeros. She summons the lords of Westeros to meet with her.

Jon Snow receives Dany’s raven and decides to meet with her since they need the dragonglass located at Dragonstone to fight the White Walkers. He leaves Sansa in charge of Winterfell and departs. Dany commands Jon to bend the knee and renounce his claim to being King of the North. Jon refuses and tells Dany about the White Walkers, but Dany doesn’t believe him. Jon realizes that the only way to prove that the White Walker threat is real is to bring one south of the Wall.

The rest of the Stark clan begins assembling at Winterfell. Bran makes it through the Wall, past Castle Black and home again. Arya also travels north and reunites with Sansa. Littlefinger tries to play Sansa and Arya against one another. This does not end well for him.

The Lannisters make short work of the Tyrell-Martell alliance, and Euron Greyjoy smashes Theon and Asha’s Ironborn fleet.

Jon Snow assembles a team that includes Davos, Gendry, the Hound, and other members of the Brotherhood without Banners to go north of the Wall and capture a White Walker. They are successful but at a cost. Dany must ride her dragons North to save Jon’s team from the Night King’s army, and Viserion falls in battle. The Night King then resurrects him as his personal mount.

The captured White Walker is brought to the Dragonpit in King’s Landing, where all of Game of Thrones‘ remaining major players meet to see what the undead are capable of. Cersei agrees to send troops to aid in the defense of the North but later tells Jaime that she was lying and wants the White Walker horde to thin out her enemies for her. Jaime decides he’s had enough of Cersei and rides north himself.

Samwell Tarly leaves Oldtown and joins the Starks at Winterfell. His book knowledge combined with Bran’s sight help them piece together Jon’s true lineage. Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark were married, which makes Jon their trueborn son and heir to the Iron Throne. They also discover Jon’s true name is Aegon Targaryen.

Meanwhile, on a ship sailing back north from King’s Landing, Jon Snow and Dany have sex for the first time.

The season ends with the Night King riding Viserion, who burns down the Wall by breathing blue fire, setting the stage for the climactic final season.

That’s a lot of epic stuff happening in one, relatively short season. Again, we can’t confirm all of this, but it matches up with what we do know of the season so far.

Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres on HBO in 2017.
