Hafþór “Thor” Björnsson is best known for playing Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane on Game of Thrones, but his day job is that of a professional strongman.

Björnsson frequently competes for world records on an Italian Guinness World Records show. His past attempts include attempts to become the fastest man to carry two refrigerators and to go for the highest beer keg toss.

His latest attempt is another interesting one. In the video above, Björnsson attempts to break the record for the longest washing machine throw.

Björnsson is unsuccessful. The big man just can’t seem to get his washing machine-throwing form down.

However, fellow competitor Žydrūnas Savickas from Lithuania manages to break the previous record with his second throw.

See it all for yourself in the video above.
