The cast of Game of Thrones continues to grow, as the show has added two new actors to the roster. Watchers on the Wall reports that actors Joseph Quinn (Dickensian) and Paul Ward (Vikings, Penny Dreadful) have both been cast in roles for season 7.
Quinn will reportedly play a character named “Koner,” which is not a name that appear anywhere in the Song of Ice and Fire book series that inspired the show. Ward’s character has not been revealed at all.

Production on GoT season 7 has already revealed hints of big conflict to come, as Daenerys Targaryen at long last arrives in Westeros with her army and advisors, seeking to reclaim the Iron Throne of her birthright. Now that the Game of Thrones series has outpaced the books, there really is a (wonderful) feeling of being in the dark about what and who we’ll see in the show. Every new casting announcement comes with the equal possibility of being something revelatory, exciting – or maybe, not that significant at all
We’ll have to see when Game of Thrones returns for season 7, sometime in summer 2017.
