The Golden Globe Award is an American accolade bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign.
This years nominations for a Golden Globe Award in both film and television were announced very early this morning.
While there wasn't much surprise in most of the film categories, other than Deadpool being nominated for best comedy - the first superhero movie to ever grace the Golden Globe stage, a few films, actors, and directors got the big snub.
