Windham Lawrence Rotunda, better known as Bray Wyatt of the WWE, turns 29 today. Rotunda comes from a wrestling heritage as his brother, Taylor Rotunda, aka Bo Dallas is a current member of the WWE roster and his father, Mike Rotunda, performed under the famous moniker Irwin R. Scheister (I. R. S.) in the early 90's. His grandfather was WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan and his uncles are the legendary Barry and Kendall Wyndam.

No pressure, right?

Originally called Duke Rotunda and later Huksy Harris in NXT, a no-nonsense monster heel, but that didn't seem to stand out and have much traction. Reinventing himself as a monstrous cult leader named Bray Wyatt, he slowly gained followers with Luke Harper and Erik Rowan. Collectively known as The Wyatt Family, Bray would cut mysterious and eerie promos hinting at supernatural elements and forces beyond human comprehension.

While still not yet having attained any championships in WWE, Bray and the Wyatt Family have left an impact on the WWE Universe. Wyatt has been in some pretty high profile match ups in his career, including a match against John Cena at WrestleMania XXX and the Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 as well as coming close to capturing the company's top prize, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.


Currently on hiatus from the company from an injury, Wyatt has hinted at returning to the WWE very soon and will be looking for a chance to finally claim championship gold.
