Today, FXX announced that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will premiere its 12th season on Wednesday, January 4 at 10 PM ET/PT.

In last season's two-part season finale, titled "The Gang Goes to Hell," Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito) go on a Christian cruise and, as you can guess, get themselves into all sorts of trouble (based on the seven deadly sins). They end up in the brig, and when the ship takes in water and begins to sink, they prepare for death by lashing out at each other one last time. However, just before they drown, they are rescued and recount their horrific experience to an insurance adjuster, but because they admitted to breaking the law several times, they don't receive any payout.

So, what's in store for the Gang? This season, the gang goes to a waterpark, deals with a Wolf Cola PR nightmare, and actually spends a whole day tending bar!
