With the latest installment of the Underworld series opening in theaters Friday, January 06, 2017, it looks like Kate Beckinsale is celebrating with a quick little selfie. Of course, in honor of the movie coming to theaters, it isn’t just an average selfie.

Beckinsale took to Instagram to post a pouty selfie. The actress is clearly still in costume for her role as Selene. Her leather suit is clearly visible, and so are the many scrapes and spatters of dirt and blood from a recent battle.

“See you tomorrow,” She captioned the photo with a lips emoji. “@underworldmovie opens in theaters Jan 6.”

This is the fifth installment of the Underworld series, and Beckinsale has starred in all five movies. She plays a vampire named Selene who falls in love with a lycan โ€“ werewolf. That fact doesn’t sit well with the rest of the vampires, so their adventures begin. Of course, there is always a bit of a twist in that her lycan boyfriend isn’t just a lycan, but a vampire-lycan hybrid, which sits even less well with the rest of the supernatural world.

All of the movies so far have been welcomed by fans of the series, but haven’t done very well in terms of critical reviews. A lot of times, they are considered to have no real point. However, they are most certainly action movies, and the characters definitely grow on you. The Underworld series has become quite the cult hit.
