The 63-year-old actress captioned the post: “Ever wonder how the TV business works? I do spill a little inside info in Grace Notes.”

In the brief clip, which is just over a minute long, Katey dishes on what it’s like trying to line up the next gig and finding work.

“Everybody sort of thinks you get to this place in your work or your career, I’m sure it’s in any career, where people are just slamming down your door and lining up for you to work. The truth is, it’s a combination of they want you, and you like what they’ve got and that’s when that happens,” she said.

Katey then explained that she believes Fox network should throw her a small bonus package given the years upon years of appearing in TV shows on their different channels.

“I’ve been on the Fox network for Married With Children, Futurama, and then FX for Sons [of Anarchy]. So I really thought they should buy me a car or something or at least a gold watch. Because I think, I really do think I’m the longest employee of the Fox broadcasting system.”

In recent weeks, Katey Sagal has been on a hot streak of dropping truth bombs on her fans. The actress penned a new memoir titled Grace Notes: My Recollections, in which she opened up about a slew of controversial topics including her past drug use and affair with KISS lead singer Gene Simmons. She also slammed Married With Children on the 30th anniversary of the show for the way it portrayed women. Learn more here.
