Monster Trucks Trailer Released

Paramount and Nickelodeon have released a new trailer for their upcoming film, Monster Trucks.

Looking for any way to get away from the life and town he was born into, Tripp (Lucas Till), a high school senior, builds a Monster Truck from bits and pieces of scrapped cars. After an accident at a nearby oil-drilling site displaces a strange and subterranean creature with a taste and a talent for speed, Tripp may have just found the key to getting out of town and a most unlikely friend.

As it turns out, the title is quite literal. The trucks featured in the film are quite literally comprised of monsters. Of course, everyone wants to get their hands on the unidentified creatures.

If you recognize Monster Trucks star Lucas Till, it's likely because you have previously seen him in X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Apocalypse, and/or Walk the Line. Till is joined by Jane Levy, Amy Ryan, and Rob Lowe for the new film. It is being directed by Chris Wedge of Ice Age.

Monster Trucks is set for release January 13, 2017.
