Lionsgate has revealed a new teaser poster for 2017’s Saban’s Power Rangers. First teased yesterday, the poster shows the Rangers doing some stargazing. The stars are conspicuously aligned in a lightning bolt shape that surrounds the film’s tagline, “Together We Are More.” Lionsgate is offering a chance to win a “digital signed copy” of the poster to anyone who tweets with the tagline’s hashtag. While the poster only shows the Rangers as civilians, Lionsgate previously released an image of the team in the new suits.

In addition to the poster tease, yesterday Lionsgate also revealed that Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Godzilla) has been cast as the Power Rangers’ mentor, Zordon. The cast already includes Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) as the villainous Rita Repulsa. The Power Rangers themselves will be played by Dacre Montgomery, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Naomi Scott, and RJ Cyler. The film is directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac). Filming began in late February 2016 in Vancouver and wrapped in May 2016.

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove โ€“ and the world โ€“ is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Check out when Saban’s Power Rangers and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com’s Movie Release Schedule.
