Lionsgate and Saban have released a new photo from the upcoming Saban’s Power Rangers movie. The new photo shows the Power Rangers in costume with their masks down.

Lionsgate previously released a teaser poster for the film, as well as a photograph revealing how Banks looks as the Power Rangers’ iconic enemy. Lionsgate also announced Comic-Con plans for the Power Rangers.
Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove โ and the world โ is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
Saban’s Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery, Becky G, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, and Ludi Lin as the Power Rangers. They have been confirmed as playing the original five Power Rangers from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series โ Jason, Trini, Kimberly, Billy and Zack.
The film also stars Elizabeth Banks as the villain Rita Repulsa, Bryan Cranston as the Rangers’ mentor, Zordon, and David Denman as Sam Scott, the Red Ranger’s father.
Saban’s Power Rangers is directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac). Principal photography began in late February in Vancouver, British Columbia and wrapped in late May.
