After the credits rolled on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, many fans were left with one burning question: What happened to Robin?

It was a small easter egg buried in the film, but it had far-reaching implications. Bruce Wayne glares at his Batman suit with a menacing look before walking over to a glass case. Inside is Robin’s suit with the words “HA HA HA JOKES ON YOU BATMAN” spray painted in yellow. It’s riddled with what looks like bullet holes and a stab wound in the shoulder. It all points to Joker, but what happened?
Photographer Lucas Ambrosio and his team think they have the answer, and have told their own version of how they think the fight between Robin, portrayed by Crimson Coscrafts, and Joker, portrayed by Stephen Doran, went down. The photos are chilling and hyper realistic, thanks in part to the lifelike makeup effects by Alicit Designs makeup and Facepainting.
“This photoshoot, depicts how we feel this Death in the Family went – a short backstory of the capture and torture of Jason Todd at the hands of the Joker,” Ambrosio said.

“HahHahHaHaHa, heh, heh, heh.”
Joker wields his crowbar as Robin sits wounded and alone, his hands bound behind his back.
“WOW that looked like it really hurt. Woah…. Now hang on…. That looked like it hurt a lot more.”
Joker relentlessly attacks Robin, who is helpless to fight back.
“Sooooo lets try and clear this up, PUMPKIN. What hurts more?”
Joker taunts Robin, who stares defiantly up at his menacing mug.
“A OR B? Forehand or Backhand?”
Joker breaks down Robin’s body as he smashes his face with the crowbar again, and again, and again.
“A little louder, lamb chop. I think you have a collapsed lung. That always impedes the auditory.”
Robin is battered and beaten, but refuses to give Joker the satisfaction of crying out in pain.
“I suppose I’m going to have to teach you a lesson. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Joker delivers the fatal blow to Robin, looming over his lifeless body with a twisted grin of satisfaction.
“Okay, KIDDO, I gotta go. It’s been fun, right? Well, maybe a smidge more for me, as you seem a bit quiet.”
Joker takes out a can of spray paint and tags Robin’s body with a message for Batman.
“Please tell the BIGMAN I said HELLLLLOOOO. Heehehehe HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!”
Joker sets the room ablaze and leaves Robin’s body to burn, proving once again he truly is a diabolical villain with no remorse over killing.
