According to Deadline, another up-and-coming actress has been added to the ensemble. Andrea Londo – who has also signed on for the third season of Narcos – was officially given a role in the upcoming motorcycle drama.
Londo will play Carnalita. As a child, she watched her family die at the hand of the Galindo cartel. Now, street-wise and driven, she protects the lost children orphaned by cartel violence.
The main character in the series is EZ Reyes (JD Pardo), and he also has had issues with the cartel. According to the Mayans MC synopsis, his character was kept from achieving anything because of the cartel’s influence.
With this reveal, you can start to see a potential love triangle take shape. EZ will be drawn to Carnalita, as the two have plenty in common. However, his heart truly belongs to someone who doesn’t want him anymore. Sarah Bolger recently joined the cast as Emily, EZ’s former sweetheart who married into money and lives in a house on the hill.
Londo hasn’t appeared in much until recently. Before landing a recurring role on Narcos, she appeared in episodes of Faking It, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
The Mayans MC pilot is set to film this April in Los Angeles. Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter is directing the episode, with a script written by showrunner Elgin James. If picked up to series, the show will likely air on FX this fall. The cast for the series includes JD Pardo, Antonio Jaramillo, Clayton Cardenas, John Ortiz, Richard Cabral, Sarah Bolger, and Edward James Olmos.

Set in the aftermath of Jax Teller’s death at the end of SOA’s seven-season run in 2014, Mayans MC will focus on the struggles of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border. EZ is the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence. Now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape.
