HBO‘s The Leftovers will premiere its third and final season on Sunday, April 16th.

The premiere date was announced today via the Instagram account of show star Justin Theroux, with a teaser attached.
Season 2 replaced the looming mystery of the Sudden Departure with more fantastical pseudo-religous symbolism and mythology, but still connected with fans in a big way, receiving high critical acclaim.
The Leftovers season 3 will premiere on Sunday April 16th.
