The Walking Dead Season 6 Premiere: First Time Again

Tonight, The Walking Dead returns from its all-too-long intermission between seasons five and six.

When we last saw our group of survivors, Rick executed abusive husband Pete Anderson for the murder of Deanna’s husband, Reg, right in front of his old pal Morgan. The trouble continues according to the episodes official synopsis:

Rick and the group are still having trouble assimilating into Alexandria. Will a new threat bring them closer together or drive them further apart?

Rick and Morgan will have to get reacquainted quickly if they hope to handle this “new threat.” Is the new threat the Wolves which were teased throughout season 5 or is it the massive horde of zombies seen in the season 6 trailer from Comic Con? We’ll find out tonight.

Several new characters are set to debut in tonight’s premiere, including Ethan Embry’s Carter and Corey Hawkins’ Heath.
