All Eyez on Me is the long-awaited biopic about rapper/actor/activist Tupac Shakur, and we now have the official trailer for the film for your viewing pleasure.
Detailing the events of Tupac’s life, leading up to his murder in September of 1996, the film brings the events of the controversial and influential entertainer’s life to the forefront, with newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. stepping into the role of Tupac. The film is being helmed by music video and movie director, Benny Boom, with a supporting cast that includes Walking Dead stars Lauren Cohan and Danai Gurira.

Celebrity figures like Suge Knight (Dominic L. Santana), Jada Pinkett (Kat Graham), Queen Latifah (Khadija Copeland), and Dr. Dre (Harold House Moore) will also be featured in the film.
For those who like their cinematic shared universe continuity connections: Jamal Woolard, the actor who played Biggie Smalls in the biopic Notorious will reprise his role in All Eyez On Me. (Fun fact: Captain America star Anthony Mackie played Tupac in Notorious.)
