Westworld Episode 4: Dissonance Theory Preview Released

After HBO aired "The Stray" episode of Westworld tonight, the cable network released a sneak preview for next week's episode, which is titled "Dissonance Theory."

It'll feature the the beautiful and kind rancher's daughter Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) going on a bounty hunt with William (Jimmi Simpson), the wary first-time visitor, and his hedonistic friend Logan (Ben Barnes). Dolores joins William and Logan on a bounty hunt in the badlands. The Man in Black, with Lawrence in tow, finds a critical clue in his search to unlock the maze. Dr. Ford and Theresa discuss the future of the park. Maeve is troubled by a recurring vision.

Created for television by Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Person of Interest) and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice), both of whom are executive producing and writing, with Nolan also directing, the series was inspired by the 1973 motion picture Westworld, written and directed by Michael Crichton.

The all-star cast features Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Clifton Collins, Jr., and Luke Hemsworth.

The episode was directed by Vincenzo Natali and written by Ed Brubaker and Jonathan Nolan.
