According to Boyd Holbrook, who is set to star in the film as a yet-to-be-named character, the latest addition to the Predator franchise will begin filming on February 24.
Speaking to ComicBook.com at a 20th Century Fox-hosted press event for Logan, Holbrook revealed critical character details about his role in the upcoming Wolverine sequel, but also said Predator begins filming in “12 days.” This interview was conducted on February 12 — making February 24 the start date for the film.
Predator will see Holbrook star alongside Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Thomas Jane, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson with Kyle Strauts in place to play the Predator. The film will be directed by Shane Black of Iron Man 3 and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang fame.
In the mean time, Holbrook will be seen as Donald Pierce in the upcoming final installment of Hugh Jackman’s run as Wolverine in Logan.
