I've never been so excited to be wrong about a prediction as I was last week. I predicted the end of Arya Stark, and she turned the House of Black and White on its head in spectacular fashion. Fans across the globe were delighted to hear Arya declare she was going home, if only she could get back to Winterfell in time for this week's Battle of The Bastards. This episode is unique in terms of death predictions, because the majority (if not the entire) episode will take place in one location. Much like Watchers on The Wall in season four, the episode is going to focus on the war surrounding Jon Snow. With a small army at his back, Jon will attempt to take back Winterfell from the evil Ramsay Bolton, and the episode looks to give us the biggest battle we've seen on the show so far. While the battle may be bloody, I think the number of major characters that will fall remains at a minimum.

Unless something crazy happens, like the White Walkers showing up to the party, the battle has to end with one of the Bastards falling. As with many others, I think we are about to finally see the end of Ramsay Bolton. He's become the most ruthless character in the show's history, and it's time for Jon to cut him down for good. In the trailer, Jon tells Ramsay that they can fight one on one to decide the outcome, but I think Ramsay will go for an all out war to decide on the fate of Winterfell. In the end, Jon's role in the future of Westeros is just too important to see him fall at the hands of Ramsay. Besides, they had to bring him back for something, right?

In order to get a little more emotional, I think a character fans enjoy will need to be killed. Episode 9 has always been known to bring finality to characters, and I don't believe this season is any different. While some point to Rickon, Sansa, or Davos as this fallen favorite, I see a much bigger character taking the plunge. When I say bigger, I don't mean more important, I just mean bigger in size. I've got a feeling that this episode will mark the last for the wildling giant Wun Wun. We've loved watching him smash his way around the wall over the last couple of seasons, but Ramsay's army has enough men to take down a giant while still concentrating on Jon's forces. This will be heartbreaking for some fans, but not enough to really crush anyone's dreams.

There are a couple of theories floating around the Internet regarding this episode, and I feel like a couple are worth noting here. First and foremost, there is the Northern Conspiracy. Following the pages of the books, this theory predicts that the Umbers, Castarks, and other forces fighting for Ramsay are secretly planning to turn on him at the last minute. According to this idea, The North still remembers, and they will back the Starks until their final breaths. I'd love to see this play out, and it would give Jon the tactical advantage to take back Winterfell. The other popular theory is that the White Walkers will be showing up amidst the epic battle, and begin their war against the people of Westeros. While I think this theory has much less traction, it would still be exciting to see unfold.

Agree with any of these predictions? Any I missed? Let us know in the comments below!
