The internet was sent into a frenzy with EA’s presentation ahead of the E3 event when they premiered the first gameplay trailer of Star Wars Battlefront II.

The action in the game included some promising moments for the mechanics and features, but there was one specific part eagle-eyed fans noticed that might have spoiler implications for the next film in the saga.

Two screens featuring a character customization interface featured Rey with a few different options available to change.

One photo depicts the scavenger in her The Force Awakens costume, while the other shows her wearing her new costume in The Last Jedi.

The bottom right corner of the UI features a slot showing “Rey’s Lightsaber,” with The Force Awakens version depicting Anakin Skywalker’s model that she comes to inherit. But the second photo with The Last Jedi version shows a new lightsaber, similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s or Luke Skywalker’s green weapon.

Some have taken this as a hint that Rey will indeed get a new lightsaber in The Last Jedi โ€” that’s not a stretch, considering that assembling a lightsaber is every Jedi and Sith’s rite of passage. Or maybe she comes to wield one of Obi-Wan’s or Luke’s weapons at one point in the movie.

Considering the game is far from coming out, the screens are from a pre-alpha build, and that it’s part of a UI, these should all be taken with a grain of salt. It could just be a simple option of customizationโ€”meaning, you could probably choose the character’s wielded lightsaber and that Rey could be brandishing Kylo Ren’s or even Darth Maul’s double-sided blade.

Basically, temper your expectations. There’s still a lot to be learned about Star Wars Battlefront II and even more to be learned about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, both of which are months away.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in theaters December 15.
