If you have been waiting to see Donald Glover’s take on Lando Calrissian, then Ron Howard is here to grant your wish. Howard, who recently took over the Han Solo film as director, shared a sneak-peek at the film with his followers online. The tweet which can be found below shows Howard’s crew overlooking a couple monitors as a large screen in the background is seen lit up with a hyperspace projection.

“Hyperspace is real. My first experience. Wow,” the director wrote. The starry image is a distracting one, but fans were quick to shift their focus to the footage frozen on the crew’s monitors. Just like that, fans were given their first-look at Glover as Lando – even if the image is insanely grainy.

The monitor was captured with a shot of Glover facing forward as he dons a bright-yellow jacket. Lando appears to be in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, so the hyperspace scene may just show Lando taking out his ship for a spin. After all, the guy needs to enjoy it while he can; Sooner or later, Han Solo will wind up snatching Lando’s ride.

Yesterday, fans were teased with an image of Lando on the set of the Han Solo standalone, but fans couldn’t agree on whether the picture showed Glover in-character or not. Howard shared a different behind-the-scenes photo of Lando sitting in the Millennium Falcon, but it appears as those a stand-in was being used to line up the director’s shot.

The Han Solo movie is being produced by Lucasfilm from a screenplay by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the second standalone Star Wars movie following Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in 2016.

Set prior to the events of Han Solo’s first appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. The film is said to show how Han Solo and Chewbacca, first met Lando Calrissian, played by Glover.
