For many, Thanksgiving involves plenty of food, football, and watching the National Dog Show. But for those who tuned into this year’s proceedings, the winning pooch has a likeness to something pretty nerdy.

Newton, the Brussels Griffon who one the ceremony’s Best In Show, caught the eye of plenty of Twitter users earlier today. Besides just being too adorable, some have pointed out that he looks a lot like a few Star Wars creatures – particularly Chewbacca and the Ewoks.

Some have been delighted by the adorable dog taking home the crown, while others have (jokingly) accused the win of being Star Wars: The Last Jedi marketing. Either way, everyone is taking a second out of their Turkey Day to have some Star Wars fun.
