According to a recent report by Newsarama, the latest galactic saga will be called Star Wars: Classified from Gillen and illustrator Kev Walker (Uncanny Inhumans).
Marvel’s Previews catalog solicitation lists two issues and a number of variant titles from artists like Dave Dorman, Jamie McKelvie, Elsa Charretier, Rod Reis, Salvadore Larroca, John Tyler Christopher, Annie Wu, and Declan Shalvey.
Take a look at the page from the catalog below:
Gillen also spoke about his work on the new Star Wars comic book series via his Tumblr:
“UNANNOUNCED MARVEL THING โ Two issues written. Inks arriving for the first issue, which are an utter delight. I think people will love it. It’s an ongoing.“
The new book will join the main ongoing series (which will reveal the origin of Yoda) and Star Wars: Poe Dameron. Marvel has yet to reveal the plot of the upcoming series, nor have they confirmed the title, meaning it may not end up being called Classified.
Either way, we’re excited to get our hands on the new Star Wars book once it debuts in December. But for now, it’s top-secret business…
