Based on the popular series of LEGO Star Wars video games, Freemaker Adventures focuses on a young family, the Freemakers, as they take parts from damaged ships to build new ones, which they then sell to make a living. Set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the first season of The Freemaker Adventures ran for 13 episodes.

The series was renewed for a second season, which will begin airing this summer.

The upcoming marathon on Disney XD will be a great way to see what you’ve been missing ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere.

In addition to airing on Disney XD, the brand-new shorts will also be available to watch on the Disney XD app and Disney XD’s official YouTube account. The shorts will hint at the exciting adventures to come in the new season.

There are many iconic dates in the legacy of Star Wars, often celebrating notable film release dates. There have also been organized celebrations of the films, known simply as “Star Wars Celebration,” first held in 1999.

In 2011, fans decided to unofficially celebrate Star Wars on the fourth day in May, thanks to the clever turn of phrase “May the Fourth,” a spin on the legendary “May the Force be with you” phrase from the series.

The unofficial holiday hasn’t been officially endorsed by Lucasfilm, but that hasn’t stopped brands from participating. Many different collectibles and limited merchandise are timed to the unofficial holiday, causing fans to share their love of the franchise all over social media.
