Do you need your own army of hyper-loyal soldiers, willing to commit atrocities for the betterment of the Empire? Well, if you have $8,000 then you’re in luck, as Sideshow Collectibles’ high-end life-size Stormtrooper is now available to pre-order.

The life-size Stormtrooper is crafted using the same high-end materials and attention to detail that they use on their smaller figures. At 6’5″ this figure is decidely not a little short for a Stormtrooper. He’s built with fiberglass, resin, high-quality plastic, metal, and fabric, and constructed as a statue (so you can’t put this armor on for costuming, sorry). Anthony Mestas designed the statue, with Legacy Effects and the Sideshow Design and Development team working to construct it.

Coming in at $7999.99, the collectible is only for the highest-end collectors, though they’ll let you split it into ten payments of $720 per month (after $800 down). That’s the same overall price as their life-size First Order Stormtrooper, which should be shipping within the next month or so. So if you’ve got the money to spend, you can have both in your room flanking you and ready for some great comparison shots.

Sideshow Collectibles’ life-size Imperial Stormtrooper is estimated to ship between June and August 2017 if you pre-order now. Note, if you do the split payment plan, it won’t ship until your final payment.

Other items in the life-size collection from Sideshow and Star Wars include Han Solo trapped in carbonite, Boba Fett complete with rocket, blaster, and cape, and a (diminutive) life-size Yoda in his Dagobah garb from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.

Sideshow has been handling premium Star Wars collectibles for a few years now, with life-size, sixth-scale, premium format, and legendary scale figure sizes. They’re ahead of the game on products for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, hitting theaters December 16, 2016, with their Shoretrooper plus two Stormtrooper Jedha Patrol variants already revealed in the Sixth Scale Figure line, plus the C2-B5 “evil Artoo” Imperial Astromech Droid. Here’s hoping for a nice K-2SO figure – that droid just looks cool. Visit Sideshow’s Star Wars landing page to see all of their current and soon-to-be-released figures.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it’s the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core “Skywalker Saga” of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: “Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.”
