What If Disney Princesses Were Lightsaber Wielding Jedi

Being a Disney Princess comes with its share of responsibilities and challenges, but there is one thing that might make those challenges a bit easier to overcome.

If you guessed Lightsabers, then you would be correct. Now that Star Wars is under the Disney umbrella, the pairing just makes all kinds of sense, and villains like Ursula, Maleficent, and Captain Hook are much easier to take down when you have the force on your side.

Enter the Jedi Princess Squad (via GeeksAreSexy). You might have seen their work in their previous photo shoot, which featured them in Disney inspired Slave Leia outfits. Those days are in the past, though, and now they’ve taken up Lightsabers along with their very own Chewbacca inspired Beast and are ready for a fight.

In addition to the custom costumes, some of the Princesses have their own unique Lightsabers, like Ariel’s Trident-saber and Belle’s Lumiere-saber (which is just the best). The costumes and weapons are fantastic, and the set came together incredibly well. You can view some of the photos below.
