Fear the Walking Dead’s midseason two finale is a couple of days away. The stakes are high for our west coast family but Nick is ready to embrace the world around him.

In a new clip from the seventh episode of the show’s second season, Nick explains to his mother that he can walk among the undead and promises her he “will not die.” On a mission where that’s a promise, it’s probably best to second guess the mission.
Also, Nick is saying he can bring Travis back. Where is Travis? Last we saw, he was in the Abigail estate but his psychotic son was caught standing over Alicia and Madison with a knife so maybe he’s off tracking him down.
The biggest conflict seems to be the Nick, Madison, and Celia triangle. Celia wants Nick to share her views of the undead while Madison firmly stands against every Celia believes in. Additionally, Madison has not given Nick much freedom at all despite how far he has come.
The revealing clip also claims that Nick went to retrieve Celia’s son Luis. That means the boat is probably okay but not necessarily that Luis is alive and well by any means. Celia has a thing for keeping the undead around, remember?
Fear the Walking Dead‘s midseason finaly airs Sunday at 9 PM ET on AMC.
