Fear the Walking Dead is set to air the fourth episode of its third season on Sunday night, which will follow-up on the shocking cliffhanger which saw Daniel Salazar return a week ago.

While most of the group will be blending in to their sanctuary at the Broke Jaw Ranch under the control of the Otto family, Daniel Salazar’s story will be told. Since his disappearance in Fear the Walking Dead‘s second season, there has been no mention of the character or as much as a tease regarding his whereabouts.

Episode 3×04, titled, “100,” will tell his story in that time.

Madison- Safe. Madison is growing into the community at Broke Jaw Ranch, ready to protect her kids or even take over the community if she has to. Without Travis around, she will be forced to remain stronger than ever before.

Alicia- Safe. Alicia has been able to carry herself from her pre-apocalyptic days and has recently learned that the apocalypse is no place for immature decisions. She will continue to evolve and serve as a leader in her family.

Nick- Safe. Nick is accepting his place at Broke Jaw Ranch, despite originally having some hostile feelings toward Troy Otto, and rightfully so. He is one of the smartest and bravest people in the community, likely more experienced with threats outside the walls than most inside, and will continue to do whatever it takes to protect himself and Luciana.

Strand- Danger. Daniel is currently imprisoned in Dante’s dam and lying to the one person who might be willing to help him. It’s not a good look.

Luciana- Safe. Luciana remains skeptic of the Broke Jaw Ranch community, which could be dangerous toward herself seeing as the threats seem to have passed, but she is smart enough to recognize when to pick a fight and when not to.

Ofelia- Danger. Ofelia’s fate is completely ambiguous after being taken by Jeremiah Otto in the Season 2 finale. Given she has not been seen at the Ranch yet, there is extra reason to worry.

Jeremiah Otto- Safe. The leader of Broke Jaw Ranch has plenty of people who are grateful for his protection and sanctuary. He’s not going anywhere (yet).

Troy Otto- Safe. The people like Troy are the ones who survive in the apocalyptic scenarios. If he can hold off on attacking the good guys for some amount of time, Troy’s heart will continue to beat.

Jake Otto- Danger. Serving as the moral compass of a series never ends well, because it always ends.

Daniel Salazar- Safe. Daniel’s return was likely realized by a difficult path. However he ended up with Victor Strand, Salazar was hardened on his journey, which says a lot for a man who had already made difficult decisions.

Fear the Walking Dead‘s third season will see a female villain rising into power, as executive producer Dave Erickson pointed out to ComicBook.com in an exclusive interview on After the Dead following the Season 2 finale.

A wholly original companion series to The Walking Dead, the #1 show on television among adults 18-49 for the last five years, “Fear the Walking Dead” explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the eyes of a fractured family. The series is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner Dave Erickson and produced by AMC Studios.
