The Walking Dead: Behind-The-Scenes Photos Of All Out War

Spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 7 finale follow.

The Season 7 finale of AMC‘s The Walking Dead launched one of the biggest battles in the show’s history. The Hilltop, the Kingdom, and Alexandria all rallied together in an effort to fight Negan, his Saviors, and their new friends from the junkyard.

In a huge batch of new photos from the episode, fans can behind the scenes and get a closer look at the chaos which flurried through Alexandria as the Saviors were chased out of the Safe-Zone by the good guys’ rally.

However, the battle of Alexandria was not the only major moment in the Season 7 finale fans are talking about. Sasha‘s death struck a nerve with several fans as she bit the dust in one of the series’ more emotional sendoffs.

Having locked herself in a coffin on the way to Alexandria, Sasha swallowed Eugene’s pills and committed suicide before reanimating as a walker who would try to bite Negan. The photos in the gallery below show off zombie-Sasha in all of her horrifying, heartbreaking, hungry-for-Negan glory.

“It just felt so right,” Sasha actress Sonequa Martin-Green said. “It felt so complete. It was quite poetic when I found out how it was gonna happen because I felt like it was the perfect end to my story.”

“I felt like all of my roads had lead to that moment of complete selflessness. It felt perfect.”
