A new video showcasing fan reactions might help explain why. Skybound, the publisher behind The Walking Dead comic, has published a new video showcasing the best of fan reactions to Fear the Walking Dead‘s most recent episode. In the episode, Daniel Salazar’s rise from the ashes of the Abigail estate was on display as strangers rescued him.

Of course, the episode was only getting started when fans were horrendously grossed out by the scraping of the burns on Daniel’s leg. “No, no, no! That’s disgusting,” one viewer cries out before a joint, “Oh, gross!” from several viewers.

Then, there is the epic action sequence which concluded the episode. Just when it appeared Daniel was selling his soul to Dante and his dam community, the head of the Salazar family took his opportunity to rescue everyone and kill the man viewers thought might be the new villain of the series.

As Fear the Walking Dead continues to plow through its third season, positive reviews and feedback from fans will only help boost the ratings. Sunday’s episode promises to explore Broke Jaw Ranch’s inner working while developing the relationship between the Clark family and the Otto family, while also following up on the fan-favorite Daniel Salazar storyline as he searches for his daughter Ofelia with con man Victor Strand.
