With every new entry to the Walking Dead universe comes the threat of characters being killed on a moment’s notice. Sunday’s new episode of Fear the Walking Dead is no exception.

The stakes are quite high heading into Sunday’s new hour of Fear. The characters at Broke Jaw Ranch having a near impossible time living in harmony as Qaletaca’s Nation clan has moved in on the Rancher’s space in the wake of Jeremiah Otto’s death. On top of that, there is the threat of running out of water in six weeks or less.
As a result, Madison and Qaletaca will follow Strand on a journey through the apocalypse to Lola’s dam, where Daniel is residing, to try and provide water to the Ranch.
Fear the Walking Dead Episode 3×11 is called “La Serpiente.” The official synopsis for La Serpiente reads, “Following the rekindling of an old friendship, a mission is launched to replenish the Ranch’s water supply by seeking the help of another community.”
Let’s see who is in the most danger for Episode 3×11…
Safe or Danger?
Madison- Safe. Madison continues to control Fear the Walking Dead. While her relationship with the powerful Qaletaca is often unbalanced, the leader of the Clark family always seems to have the upper hand. Now, with the quick witted Victor Strand by her side, Madison is in line to get what she wants.
Alicia- Safe. Alicia continues to evolve and emerge as a leader in Fear the Walking Dead. While she won’t have a role in Episode 3×11, her importance remains as the tension in Broke Jaw Ranch becomes greater. With family near by ready to protect her if necessary, Alicia remains safe.
Nick- Danger. With certain members of the Broke Jaw Ranch community now aware of Nick’s murder of Jeremiah Otto, his back is just waiting to offer a target a place to call “home.”
Troy- Safe. It might be a while before we see Troy again and that self-inflicted damage to his hand doesn’t bode well for his future but there is a reason he was exiled and not killed. The Shane Walsh of Fear the Walking Dead will rise again and come after what he wants at the Ranch.
Sam- Danger. Sam insists on holding on to his moral compass. Fans of the Dead universe know how that goes… He should just ask Dale, Hershel, Tyreese…
Qaletaca- Safe. Qaletaca has dozens, if not hundreds, of people ready to sacrifice themselves for his leadership. While he is outnumbered by the relationships between Madison, Strand, and Daniel for Episode 3×11, there is still no reason for the Nation’s leader to feel threatened.
Ofelia- Safe. Though Ofelia has evolved and become a key member of the Nation, the character might be on the wrong side of a battle which may or may not be on the horizon. Of course, nothing can happen to Ofelia ahead of the inevitable reunion with her father, making her safe — for now.
Daniel- Safe. Like Ofelia, Daniel can’t go anywhere before the family reunion, but he is in a much safer position to survive to see it. The character is a high ranking member at the dam formerly ruled by Dante and more aware of his surroundings and capable to handle them than anyone near him.
Strand- Safe. Victor Strand always has a plan. Now, he has Madison at his side, to make up for his possible lack of survival skills when it comes to killing on command.
