Who Dies In Fear The Walking Dead’s Midseason Finale?

Fear the Walking Dead hasn’t been nearly as deadly as its older brother The Walking Dead. With the midseason finale of Fear‘s second season approaching on Sunday night, that could change.

The stakes are very high going into the episode, which is titled “Shiva.” Strand put down Celia’s son despite his claim that he would join Thomas in the afterlife. Celia, the unpredictable host at the Abigail estate, will certainly not be happy to find her son with a bullet in his head. In addition, Daniel is hearing bizarre voices in his head but at least his daughter seems to be recovering from her wound.

Which of the core characters are in danger in the finale? Let’s see…

Strand – Danger. He’s become a fan-favorite character which rarely works in favor of a good fate and the entire estate will be out to get him when they see what he has done to Thomas.

Madison – Safe. She always manages to avoid most of the action. Most of her concerns will be with protecting her children and reasoning with Celia.

Travis – Danger. His son has apparently gone crazy, yet Travis is still not adapting to the new way of the world. We’ve seen what happens to the moral compasses in the Walking Dead worlds.

Chris – Safe. He’s one of the few people ready to do what it takes to survive.

Alicia – Safe. She’s away from the action and nobody’s target. Unless she finds herself in some sort of unfortunate crossfire, Alicia is safe.

Nick – Safe. He is walking among the undead. He has allies at the estate and his family to protect him. Nick is safe.

Daniel – Danger. The voices in his head are an immediate red flag but Daniel is also suspicious of Celia’s choices and the estate as a whole. He haste may prove costly.

Ophelia – Not in danger, not safe. No one is after Ophelia but they will probably be after her father, possibly putting her in harm’s way.

Celia – Danger. Celia is more or less the villain of Fear the Walking Dead right now. She’s a target and making reckless choices by keeping walkers around.
