AMC has released a new teaser for the second half of The Walking Dead‘s seventh season.
With a few clips varied from the original teaser released after the midseason finale, the theme of Season 7B remains: Rise up. Rick Grimes is making an effort to unite the Kingdom and Hilltop communities with his Alexandria Safe-Zone to take on the Saviors.

Season 7B will be drastically different from Season 7A.
“I will say 7B’s vibe is very different from 7A’s vibe. The ending of 7B is very different than the beginning of 7A,” showrunner Scott Gimple said in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com. “Just the vibe in 7B, I was just talking about it with Andy [Lincoln] last night. It’s just a very, very different half season than the half season that preceded it. Even with structure, what we’re doing right now with the episodes and seeing where everyone is at, the structure is very, very different than the back half. There’s a lot more variety to the structure. It’s just a very, very different situation, but 6, 7, 8 … Wow, we’re really close, aren’t we? I would say the end of 7A is very different than the beginning of 7A. That’s the thing that kind of launches that different tone of 7B.”
Going by the comics, Rick’s group is all set to rally the neighboring communities of the Hilltop and the Kingdom to take on the Saviors. Through almost eight episodes, the former Sheriff has been accepting oppression. Safe to say, both the community on the series and the fans at home are ready to see Rick take on Negan. As much has finally been teased in the Season 7B trailer.
