Ahead of Sunday's new extended episode of The Walking Dead, AMC has released a clip previewing Daryl Dixon's return home to Alexandria.

Last week, Daryl's breakdown was on display as Dwight and the Saviors attempted to mold him into their own. Daryl refused, however, to call himself Negan. Still, the Saviors locked him in a cell, fed him dog food, and played the song, "Easy Street," on a constant loop.

Daryl's mental state is clearly a very fragile one. Prior to being taken hostage by Negan's band of savages, he punched the new villain in the face in a move which got his good friend Glenn killed as a result. While the group does not directly blame Daryl for Glenn's death, Daryl blames himself and Negan is using the moment as a tool for his manipulation of the little Dixon brother.

Whether or not Daryl will be allowed to stay behind at Alexandria will likely be up to Negan and we all know what the menace would decide. Based on the brief look at him in the new clip, it's safe to say he is feeling the effects of Negan's torture.
