Tron 3 To Start Shooting In The Fall In Vancouver

tron3

Filming for the third Tron film will begin this Fall in Vancouver, according to the website vancitybuzz.com.

They claim that Walt Disney Pictures has given the sequel to 2010's Tron: Legacy a green light and filming will begin on October 5, 2015.

Garrett Hedlund ("Pan") is expected to reprise his role as Samuel "Sam" Flynn, son of the Grid's creator Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges). At the end of the last film, Sam and Quorra (Olivia Wilde) were able to escape that virtual reality. Sam got back to the real world and Quorra was able to experience it for the first time.

  1. I believe TRON could be the next multi-billion dollar franchise, but only if Disney gets the right people to do it.

  2. I'm inclined to agree. Tron could be Disney's next multi-billion dollar franchise. I'm quite surprised that Tron: Legacy didn't catch on with the masses. The series as well as the CGI TV show has a rich storyline. Here's hoping and praying the next film catches on.

  3. FINALLY! news that i've been looking and waiting for! huge fan of Tron! Can't wait for this movie!!

  4. Disney really needs to make TRON THE ANIMATED series season 2.  Hopefully the TRON 3 will spark them to get going on that ..
