The first official theatrical poster has been revealed for the forthcoming Paramount Star Trek sequel Star Trek Into Darkness.
The image, which sees a character emerge from destruction, seems to mirror the plot summary which quietly made its way online last week:

The J. J. Abrams-directed film will be in theaters on May 17, 2013 and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Benedict Cumberbatch.
