Marvel Comics just released a new preview for Age of Ultron #7, featuring battle-scarred, disfigured and generally different versions of their heroes.
Captain America is missing an eye, The Thing has big combat marks in his rocky facade and Captain Marvel appears to be a different character entirely–is this to suggest that Carol Danvers has died?–in the image, which also features scarred and disfigured images of The Hulk and Cyclops.
“Do or Die: Who Will Emerge From the Age of Ultron?” the teaser asks, and teases art by Brandon Peterson and Carlos Pacheco for the “second act” of the Brian Michael Bendis-written crossover series.
