Hines Ward On Walking Dead - Last Sunday, The Walking Dead returned on AMC with a very familiar looking zombie. Yes, that zombie with the muscular build was none other than former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward. The interesting thing is that even though it looked like Maggie put a bullet in Hines Ward head, when we slowed down the video, it revealed that she actually shot another zombie with a full head of hair. However, Hines Ward eventually confirmed his death, even if the kill shot wasn't shown on TV. Daryl Dixon Spinoff Series - Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, has joked about doing a spinoff series with his character. With Daryl and brother Merle leaving Rick's group and taking to the woods on the midseason premiere, it sort of set things up where maybe a Daryl Dixon spinoff show could become a reality. We asked our readers what they thought, and the overwhelming response was that there is huge interest in a Daryl Dixon spinoff series. Batman #17 Spoilers – The highly anticipated conclusion to the "Death Of The Family" storyline leaked early online. Everyone seemed to be in search of spoilers, and ultimately the issue proved to be very controversial. The reviews seemed to agree with it being a great story, but there was disappointment among many that the conclusion didn't give them the death they were anticipating. For those disappointed, there's always Batman Incorporated #8. Han Solo In Star Wars – While no one yet has official confirmation or denial for that matter from Disney/Lucasfilm, Latino-Review went on record stating that Harrison Ford's deal to play Han Solo in Star Wars Episode 7 was done. Even though an EW reporter denied that a deal had actually been signed, all indications point toward Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill all returning. Comic Con Sold Out – On Saturday, badges for 2013 Comic Con International went on sale. With thousands if not millions of people trying to access the purchase system at one time, many encountered error pages or pages that never loaded. By most reports, the waiting room was completely full within minutes. However, it took awhile to process all the orders in the waiting room, and the official completely sold out notice came from Comic Con 95 minutes after badges went on sale.
