Batman #17 Leaks Early Online

In what is starting to become an unfortunate tradition with heavily hyped comic books, Batman #17 has leaked early online. Batman #17 features the conclusion of the popular "Death of the Family" story arc. Many fans have been waiting to find out who lives and who dies in the issue. Scans of the entire issue of Batman #17 have popped up on torrent sites and message boards. Spoiler pages are also circulating on Tumblr, and spoiler filled discussions are hitting on Reddit and Twitter. Early reviews are also starting to surface for Batman #17, and like is often the case with milestone comic book issues, the reviews are mixed. Batman #17 is being called everything from a masterpiece to a mess. Last month, the highly anticipated Superior Spider-Man #1 leaked early online, so the leaks seem to be occurring with Marvel Comics as well as DC comics. Of course, the early leaks of Superior Spider-Man #1 did not seem to affect sales, as the issue was the top selling comic book of January 2013. Batman #17 is written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo and Jonathan Glapion. Batman #17 will be officially released in comic book stores on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
