Batman Incorporated #8 Cover

Spoiler Alert, this article may or may not contain spoilers. It's based on a cover that has been posted online for an upcoming Batman issue, and as comic book fans know, comic book covers can sometimes be deceiving. Still, we felt it was fair to warn you that you are about to see a cover below that might be considered a spoiler. Of course, if you actually plan to buy the issue, the cover is going to spoil it for you before you read it anyway. In the teaser for Batman, Incorporated #8, DC Comics indicates, "Everything Grant Morrison has been planning since the start of Batman, Incorporated leads to this stunning issue!" So what has Grant Morrison been planning? Well, if you were disappointed that the "Death Of The Family" storyline didn't result in a shocking death, then it would be a good idea to pick up Batman, Incorporated #8. While DC Comics shows the cover at the top of this article on their website which merely shows Batman and Robin facing down against some mysterious foe, an entirely different cover has shown up on Twitter. The cover shows Robin along with the word "R.I.P." The R in "R.I.P." is even done as the Robin logo. If that isn't a hint that Damian Wayne, a.k.a. Robin is going to be killed off in the issue, then we don't what is. Of course, it could always be some kind of trick, like he's not killed, but he just ditches the Robin name and costume and takes on a new costumed identity. Batman, Incoprorated #8 is scheduled to be released in comic book stores on February 27, 2013.
